This installation features a sculptural structure that resembles a parabolic antenna. A real-time video stream is projected onto it, showcasing skies from different regions around the world where dawn is currently breaking. These images are captured by webcams located in various parts of the globe.
In this work, the sun serves as a natural element whose luminosity passes through a digital filter, transforming natural light into RGB (red, green, blue) and converting it into artificial light.
This work reflects our relationship today with nature employing digital devices, which come to question our physical position on the globe and even challenge the natural phenomena that condition our life cycles.
This installation was presented at FOREIGN SKY, a solo show hosted by NON BERLIN.
